City sailor specialises in running courses for company employees in their own offices making it easier to finish work and get straight on with the important business of learning to sail! These courses can also be open to friends and family members.
Essential navigation and seamanship
This is an exciting introduction to navigation and seamanship including charts, position fixing, tides and much more.

This course covers a comprehensive syllabus including the latest developments and techniques in navigation and essentials in safety and seamanship.
Typical course length, 7 evening sessions and 1 weekend session which includes the final examination.

The ultimate “must have ticket” for any aspiring seafarer, an advanced theory course in offshore and coastal navigation, pilotage and offshore passages.

We will send flyers and posters for distribution including course date, time and location encouraging sailors to contact us for booking, payment and further information.
Prior to the course start date an information email will be sent out to include instructor information and any other specific requirements the group may have.
To run a course at your place of work we may require a minimum of 6 people.
